Locked out in Baltimore? Don't break the window.

Keys on the seat, keys in the trunk, a fob that died, a child or a dog inside — lockouts happen to careful people. We run 24-hour lockout service across Baltimore with proper tools: air wedges, long-reach tools and door-protection guards that open the car without cracking glass, tearing weatherstripping or scratching paint.

Call 443-240-7994, tell us the year, make and model, and where you're parked. If there is a child or pet in a hot car, call 911 first and then call us — we'll be moving before you hang up.

How the visit works

  • We confirm you're authorized to be in the vehicle — ID and registration or another reasonable proof. It protects you as much as it protects us.
  • We quote the price on the phone. Most standard lockouts are a flat rate.
  • Most cars open in under fifteen minutes on scene.

What we can and can't do

We open doors. We don't cut or program keys, and there are a few situations where a locksmith or dealer is genuinely the right call — a broken key snapped in the ignition, a completely dead smart-key system, or certain high-security European models. We'll tell you that on the phone instead of driving out to fail expensively. If the car simply cannot be opened where it sits, we can tow it to a locksmith or dealership instead, with local tows starting at $79.

Common Baltimore lockout spots

Parking decks around the Inner Harbor and Harbor East, the lots at Camden Yards and M&T Bank Stadium on event nights, hospital garages at Johns Hopkins and GBMC, the light rail and Metro park-and-rides at Cromwell, Timonium, Old Court and Milford Mill, and BWI Marshall's long-term lots. We work all of them regularly and know the height limits and access rules.

A note on trunk and hatch lockouts

If the keys are in the trunk of a sedan, we usually get in through the cabin and drop the rear seat or use the interior release. Hatchbacks and SUVs without a cabin pass-through are trickier and occasionally end as a tow — we'll be upfront about that before you agree to anything.

Questions

Car Lockouts FAQs

How much is a car lockout in Baltimore?

Most standard lockouts are a flat rate, quoted before we dispatch. Vehicles with high-security systems can cost more, and we'll say so on the phone.

Will you damage my door or window?

No. We use air wedges, protective guards and long-reach tools designed for the job. Breaking glass is a last resort that we don't take without your explicit say-so.

Do you need proof the car is mine?

Yes — an ID plus registration, insurance card or another reasonable proof. It's a standard protection for vehicle owners.

There's a child or pet locked in the car. What do I do?

Call 911 first — police and fire can force entry immediately in an emergency. Then call us. Never wait on a tow truck when someone is in danger in a hot car.

Can you make me a new key?

No, we don't cut or program keys. If your key is broken, lost or the fob is dead, we can tow the vehicle to a locksmith or dealer.

Can you open a trunk?

Often, yes — usually by getting into the cabin and using the interior release or folding the rear seat. Some hatchbacks and SUVs don't allow it, and then a tow is the honest answer.
